Job Description:-
Certification & Experience- Candidate should have valid CCNA certification with three years of work experience in Network & Network Security. CCNP/CCSP is desirable.
Routing and Switching Skills:

Production experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance of large scale Router, Switch firewall and IPS deployments.
Hands on experience – Hardware Module, Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting for the following listed Routers and Switches
a> Routers: Cisco 7600, 7500, 7200, 3800, 3700, 3600, 2600, 1700 series
b> Switches: Cisco6500, 4500, 3500, 2500 series.
Experience in configuration & troubleshooting of CE1 links and backup technologies for remote locations i.e. ISDN PRI/BRI, VSAT, RF & CDMA connectivity.
Sound knowledge of MPLS deployment, configuration and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise Network.
Sound knowledge of IPSec VPN and GRE tunnel configuration and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise Network.
Sound knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP & RIP v2 routing protocol implementation configuration and troubleshooting for Large Enterprise Network.
Sound knowledge of VLAN/LAN configuration, troubleshooting.
Working knowledge on all Leased line Modems and ISDN NT boxes (Attrie, MRO-RAD, Nomus, Loop telecom etc), preferably should know how BSNL/MTNL infrastructure works for their customers WAN links.
Generic server load balancer (SLB) knowledge preferably with Cisco CSM (Content Switching Module) configuration and troubleshooting.
Should possess interests in learning the existing routing/switching environment and capable of suggesting plans for improvement & better performance.
Experience with high availability protocols such as HSRP, VRRP, etc.
Network Security Skills:
1. Experience with deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Cisco PIX, FWSM, Nokia, Checkpoint, Juniper firewalls and IPS/IDSM.
2. Experience in working with large firewall and NAT policies (1000+ rules)
3. Knowledge about implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting of Cisco ACS for Authentication, Authorization and accounting of network equipments.
4. IPSec data encryption knowledge for remote branches using site to site VPN Cisco 7200VXR, routers and PIX.
5. Knowledge of Cisco CSM Network management & monitoring tool for IDS/IDSM, FWSM, PIX-525 and other security products.
6. Experience with deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Cisco Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
7. Knowledge of Cisco IOS security features and basic knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threats and attacks.
8. Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of different kind of Access-lists.
9. Should be able to study existing Network security infrastructure setup and suggest on improvement for better performance.

Required Network Monitoring Tools skills:

HP OV NNM implementation knowledge along with familiarity of HP OV NNM, Whats Up, PRTG/ MRTG and Solar winds for generating Network Availability (up down time), Utilization and performance reports etc.
Implementation & working knowledge of Cisco CSM, CMARS Network security monitoring tools for log analysis & reporting of network & security equipments.
Communication skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work across organizations.
Should be capable to drive Team of 40+ engineers and or handle all escalations made by them on Technical service/support issues.
To drive team in collecting data required for network monitoring and guide on improvement.
To communicate with Customer, IBM design/implementation/support and to NOC and all NAP engineers as and when required,
To be an active member for discussions with Customer’s team for new Network & security deployments
Excellent Vendor management skills for driving max network uptime by conducting regular reviews and suggesting on service improvement.
Should be familiar with ITIL process.
