Job Description

Note: Candidate with good Experience in MPLS and Firewalls(ASA and PIX) and CCNP certification is Mandatory

Responsibilities:
·
Maintains, supports, and monitors the global
offices Data, Voice, and Wireless networks to optimize performance and to
identify, diagnose, and resolve any issues.
·
Configures, tests, and maintains Cisco
routers and stack switches, CORE switches , ASA/PIX firewalls hardware and
software, VPN hardware and software.
·
Provides 24x7 on-call support, must work US EST
time shift.
· Provide 2nd-tier and 3rd tier support for IT team network issues.

· Onsite support for Asia office, but mainly Remote support of US offices.

· Monitoring of system stability, availability and performance.

· Ensuring 24x7x365 operation of internal and client systems.

· Support client network connections and devices.
· Interact with clients
and service providers to ensure timely correction of network issues

· Perform documentation of procedures.

Technology Skills
required:
· Network hardware: Cisco routers, Switches, ASAs, Wireless
Controllers, and Access Points
·
Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF
· Security: IPSec,
VPN, L2TP, PPTP, TLS/​SSL, Digital Certificates, IPS/​IDS, SSH, RADIUS,
TACACS+​, MARS, CSA
· Other protocols: HSRP, ICMP, tcp/​udp, MPLS, SIP/​SDP, H323,
STP, MGCP
· Cisco CUCM, Unity, CUPS
·
Bluecoat or IronPort Secure
Gateways
· Experience with QOS
·
Unix knowledge is a plus.

· Ability to
express oneself clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to effectively and efficiently manage complex projects that may
involve Client various groups, Vendor/Partner organizations.
· Effectively
communicate and report on technical status of systems; current and in
process.
· Work effectively with nontechnical personnel to integrate technology with
strategic business goals and requirements.
·
Should be able to establish and maintain
effective working relationships at all levels management within
organization.
